Our diced beef is cut by hand from boneless cuts and trimmed of sinew, so every piece is ready to cook. Choose large pieces for stews, medium for curries or small for quicker dishes, with the fat on or off. It is the most useful beef cut to keep in the freezer.

Butcher's tip

Dry the cubes on kitchen paper before browning them in batches; wet meat steams and will not take on a good colour.
