About this product

Chicken hearts have a firm, slightly chewy bite and a rich, meaty flavour. They cook very quickly and are popular in Pakistani, Middle Eastern and South American cooking, often fried with spices or threaded onto skewers. A small pack goes a long way.

Butcher's tip

Trim any visible fat and the top vessel, then fry over a high heat for five to six minutes with garlic, chilli and a squeeze of lemon.
