Halal Chicken Thigh with Bone

Bone in thighs with the skin on are among the most forgiving cuts to cook. The bone adds flavour, the skin crisps up in the oven, and the meat stays tender. They suit roasting, braising and slow cooked one pot meals.

Butcher's tip

Roast skin side up at 200°C for 35 to 40 minutes, then rest for five minutes; the juices settle and the meat pulls cleanly from the bone.
