About this product

Smoked chicken brings a rich, smoky depth that is central to many West African soups and stews. It is sold as a single bird or a pack of eight, whole or cut into pieces. A little goes a long way in a pot of soup.

Butcher's tip

Rinse in warm water and simmer for 15 minutes before adding to soup, so the smoke flavour spreads evenly.
