About this product

The tomahawk is a thick rib eye with the long rib bone left on, made to be the centre of the table. Each one weighs about 1.0 to 1.3kg and is HMC certified. It is best cooked whole and carved into slices to share between two to four people.

Butcher's tip

Sear on all sides, then roast at 180°C until the centre reaches 52°C for medium rare, and rest for 15 minutes before carving.
